The Federal University Dutse (FUD) has banned night visits to female hostels and all tinted cars entering the university.

The vice-chancellor of the university, Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed, revealed this to journalists.
He said that this decision was made after he patrolled the campus at night.
He explained that the university seized tinted vehicles in the female hostel, and the suspicious activities of these vehicles and students violated school regulations.
Professor Abdul Karim Sabo said that the female students who were found to be lacking in behavior during the night patrol had reported it to their parents.
“All the students are in the university to study and as their guardian, we would not allow anybody to compromise their moral values,” he said.
“The university will not tolerate night visitation of the female hostel, tinted cars in the daytime and most importantly at night.”
He warned that anyone caught would be prosecuted.
