Cursory: Kwara State Polytechnic in Ilorin has withdrawn the Higher National Diploma Certificate of AbdulRasheed Zubair Olatunji, a student of Public Administration, due to his alleged involvement in cultism. The decision was made based on the report of the institution’s Students’ Disciplinary Committee, as it goes against the matriculation oath. Furthermore, his eligibility for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has been suspended.


The authorities at Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, have taken the decision to revoke the Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate of AbdulRasheed Zubair Olatunji who was studying Public Administration at the institution, due to his alleged participation in cultism, which is in direct violation of the matriculation oath he took.
According to a statement released by the deputy registrar, Olayemi Olatomi, on Tuesday, the decision to withdraw Olatunji’s certificate was made based on a report from the Students’ Disciplinary Committee.
The committee found evidence of Olatunji’s involvement in cultism, which reflects poorly on his character and contradicts the values upheld by the institution.
Furthermore, the statement mentioned that Olatunji’s eligibility for the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program has been put on hold in light of the situation.
