Four female students in Kwara state have been honoured with cash gifts for their outstanding performance in mathematics and economics.


Four female students from Cherubim and Seraphim Secondary School in Ilorin, Kwara State, have been honored with cash rewards for their outstanding performance in mathematics and economics.
The awards, each worth N100,000, were presented by Quick Access, a prominent real estate firm, to two exceptional Senior Secondary School 1 and two Senior Secondary School 2 students as part of their corporate social responsibility initiatives.
During the ceremony held at the school premises, Mrs. Bolanle Ojo, the Chief Operating Officer of Quick Access, highlighted the company’s dedication to supporting education as a crucial aspect of its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Mrs. Ojo underscored the pivotal role of education in societal transformation and grooming future leaders, noting that the company’s CEO, Bolatito Ojo, had benefited from a Federal Government scholarship in 2002.
The commitment to fostering academic excellence aims to give back to society, Mrs. Ojo emphasized.
Among the recipients were Ampitan Deborah, recognized as the top student in mathematics, and Ibrahim Olayemi Aishat, distinguished as the best SS1 student in economics. Additionally, Bello Adesewa Susan and Isiaku Serah Mercy, excelling in mathematics and economics at SS2 level, also received N100,000 each.
Mrs. Ojo elaborated on the company’s vision to transform rural areas into urban centers through a unique credit system, facilitating property acquisition with a ten-year payment plan. With 81 locations across six states and 10 branches in Nigeria, Quick Access is dedicated to this transformation.
Mrs. Folashade Abifarin, the school principal, expressed gratitude to Quick Access Micro and Macro Limited for their generosity, recognizing the significant impact of the awards on the students’ academic journey. She urged the government to intervene decisively to safeguard the education sector’s integrity and value for future generations.
The event was attended by parents, educators, community leaders, and education stakeholders, demonstrating Quick Access’s commitment to societal development and nurturing future leaders.
