A Nigerian entrepreneur, Gladys Adija, is celebrating the remarkable success of her foodstuffs business, which she launched using her NYSC allowance savings in 2020.
Based in Jos, Adija’s story went viral after she shared her journey of saving all her NYSC allowance to start her business.
In a recent Facebook update, she announced that her business has evolved into a full-fledged brand.
She expressed her gratitude for the growth and emphasized how her diligent saving and investment strategy led to her breakthrough.
Adija also mentioned that she was recently contacted by the NYSC.
She shared her excitement: “We got a call from NYSC today, I am speechless. God has done it for me.😭🙌❤️
The business I started with my NYSC allowance savings in 2020 has grown into a full brand, and they are hoping to work with me.
Who would have thought that the idea of saving my allowance to start a food business would become the beginning of my breakthrough?
Who would have thought that the young corper carrying tomatoes on her head in Faringada market would achieve this?
God, I am very grateful. This just had to be you.”
