Lagos State University (LASU) Certificates Collection Procedure for 2018/2019 Graduands has been Announced.


Following the postponement of the LASU 24th Convocation Ceremonies, and in recognition of the need for graduating students to collect their certificates to advance their careers, the University Management has magnanimously approved the release of certificates to all graduating students (2018/2019 Session) who have fully completed their clearance.
In order to ensure compliance with the covid-19 guidelines, graduating students are to apply for their certificates by taking the following steps:
1. Write a letter to the Registrar, LASU, requesting for collection of certificate via courier. (Include the physical address to which the certificate is to be delivered as well as a functional phone number and WhatsApp number.) Then attach the following to the letter:
- Sworn affidavit that you are the true owner of the certificate & responsible for anything that may go wrong after collection.
- Valid means of identification.
- 2 passport photographs. (Not applicable)
Other requirements to be attached to the letter are:
- Original notification of results (Not Applicable)
- Original final clearance
- Original student’s statement of account
- Original student’s identification slip (Not Applicable)
- Evidence of payment for alumni
- Evidence of payment for certificate (Convocation Package)
- Evidence of payment of penalty for late collection (Not Applicable)
- Evidence of payment for convocation brochure (Not Applicable)
- Evidence of payment for courier delivery, depending on the destination.

2. Send the letter and all attachment in one parcel addressed to:
The Registrar,
Lagos State University,
Ojo, Lagos
Upon receipt of the above, the University will process the Certificate and send through courier to the physical address provided by the graduating student.
NB: This information is applicable to only the FULL-TIME and SANDWICH PROGRAMME graduating students in the 2018/2019 academic session.
In addition, the University will invite the graduating students for the Convocation Ceremony in due course.
