A Nigerian graduate from Lagos State University (LASU) has expressed regret over spending five years in school, only to end up selling zobo to make a living.

The young woman took to TikTok to share her frustration, revealing her struggles to make ends meet despite earning a degree. She lamented that if she had known her efforts would lead to selling zobo, she would not have invested five years of her life in university. Her video, captioned, “If I had known it’s zobo I’d end up selling, I wouldn’t have wasted 5 years of my life in LASU,” sparked widespread reactions online.
