Lagos State University of Science and Technology, (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu Indigeneship Verification Exercise For 2026/2027 Academic Session will commence on Wednesday, 17th June, 2026 to Friday, 19th June, 2026. This is for Mop-up candidates.


All Candidates of Lagos State origin who chose Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their First Choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and scored a minimum of 195 are hereby informed of the commencement of the State of Origin Verification Exercise (SOVE) for the 2026/2027 admission exercise.

The management of the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) hereby announces dates for mop up of the State of Origin Verification Exercise (SOVE) particularly to screen candidates who missed the exercise earlier held from Wednesday, 17th June, 2026 to Friday, 19th June, 2026.
This notice therefore affects such remaining candidates who indicated Lagos State as their state of origin and chose LASUSTECH as their first choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted by JAMB or in the JAMB Direct Entry (DE) application for admission into the University. The registration for the screening exercise will commence on Monday, 6th July, 2026 and end 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 22nd July, 2026.
The screening interview for the candidates will hold on Thursday 23rd July, 2026 from 9:00 am at the 500 seat capacity Agric Auditorium, Ikorodu.
The interview date for each candidate will be specified on the application form.

Please NOTE that ONLY Candidates who are of Lagos State Origin are eligible for the screening exercise. Candidates in this category are expected to be CLEARED by the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) BEFORE they can process their POST UTME Screening forms.

- Local government letter of indigene

- Evidence of Landed property
- Candidate 2 passport photographs
- JAMB slip
- SSCE results
