LAUTECH Pre-Degree Form 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

The general public is hereby informed that application form for admission to the Pre-Degree Programme of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso is available online for completion as from Tuesday, July 1, 2025 on the website: https://apply.lautech.edu.ng

Duration of LAUTECH Pre-Degree Programme.

The programme is expected to run for six (6) calendar months after which there will be an intensive and compulsory ICT programme which will run for three (3) months immediately after the final examination while successful candidates are awaiting admission into the degree programmes.

LAUTECH Pre-Degree Admission Requirements.

Candidate should possess at least SSCE, NECO GCE Ordinary Level or NABTEB in not more than two sittings, with a minimum of credit in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry. Candidate who does not satisfy the above requirement for admission need not apply.

Information on Choice of Programme

Each candidate is expected to make two (2) choices out of the undergraduate programme options available at LAUTECH as listed below. The options are divided into Groups A and B. Each candidate is expected to choose only one programme from any of the two groups. No candidate should make two choices from the same group.

Please note that B. Tech. is a five-year programme while B.Sc and B. A are four-year programmes.

Screening Exercise

Entrance examination for successful applicants takes place at 9:00am on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the LAUTECH new ICT complex. Applicants are to please, note that the entrance examination will be Computer Based Test (CBT).

How to Apply for LAUTECH Pre-Degree.

• A prospective applicant is expected to proceed to LAUTECH website https://apply.lautech.edu.ng to make payment of Fifteen thousand Naira (N15,000:00) only for the application form and registration online using Interswitch enabled Debit (ATM) Card.
• Each applicant is expected to carefully complete and submit the online Application Form. An incomplete Application Form will not be treated.

Closing Date:

• The closing date for the submission of application form is Tuesday October 7, 2025. Each applicant must ensure that the Acknowledgement Slip bearing his/her passport photograph is downloaded and printed as evidence of successful submission of the form.
• Please note that late completion/submission of forms will not be entertained.

Placement into Degree Programmes:

• Placement into degree programmes will be based on performance at the end of the programme, admission requirements, vacancy in the desired degree programme, and participation in the ICT intensive training. Also, all intending applicants are to ensure they obtain 2026 UTME form, sit for the examination and pass the minimum cut off mark as may be determined by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
