In a recent incident at a private university, a lecturer reportedly disciplined a female student for laughing during class by requiring her to write, “I am sorry, Miss Moyin,” in a notebook.
The situation was shared on TikTok, where the student recounted her experience. She noted that after laughing during a lecture, the lecturer assigned her this task as a form of punishment.
The female student, who is studying mass communication, clarified in response to comments that the incident was serious and not a joke. She explained that the lecturer instructed her to write an apology letter solely because she laughed in class.
A segment of her apology read: “Apology to Miss Moyin. I sincerely apologize, Miss, for disrupting your class.”
She went on to repeatedly write “I am sorry” across multiple lines until she filled the entire notebook.
