Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LUTH Schools of Health Admission Form for the 2024/2025 Academic Session is Out.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Schools of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba.

• School of Health Information Management (SHIM) – National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND)
• Federal School of Biomedical Engineering (FSBME) – National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) 
• School of Community Health (SCH) – Higher Diploma
• School of Anaesthetic Technician (SAT)- Diploma Certificate
• School of Medical and Psychiatry Social Work (SMPSW)- Postgraduate Certificate
• School of Nursing (SON)- National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND)

LUTH School of Health Information Management Admission Requirements.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR ND CANDIDATES IN HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

Candidates must possess five (5) O’level credits in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings in the relevant subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, and/or Physics and any other subject: Geography, Agric, Economics, Data Processing, Technical Drawing (Result combination must be from the same examination body i.e NECO/NECO or SSCE/GCE). He/She must also meet the JAMB cut-off mark approved for Monotechnics for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR HND CANDIDATES IN HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

In addition to the specific entry requirements for the ND programme for Health Information Management, the candidate for the HND programme must meet the following entry requirements:

• National Diploma Certificate in Health Information Management with a minimum of lower credit
• Professional Diploma/Technician Certificate in Health Information
  Management by HRORBN with a minimum of lower credit
• Evidence of completion of compulsory one-year relevant clinical work experience (I.T) in an accredited Health Institution
• Candidates with Merit/Pass (G. P. A. 2.00-2.49) at the ND level with
  two (2) or more years post-ND cognate work experience.
• NOTE: Awaiting result is accepted

How to Apply for LUTH School of Health Information Management Admission.

To apply for the application form please read the following guidelines carefully:

• Visit the Admission Portal https://luth.gov.ng/schools and click on your desired School. 
• Complete the account creation Form. Ensure you supply correct information and functional email address. An email containing your login details will be sent to you after the account creation. Through the email, you will get information on how to make payment immediately or on a later date.
• If you desire to make payment immediately, a prompt to “MAKE PAYMENT” will be highlighted after the account creation. d. You will be redirected to the Remita website where you can make payment. A Remita
• Retrieval Reference (RRR) code automatically generated when your account was created will be attached. Please be informed that various means of payment is supported on the platform. 
• On successful completion of payment, the applicant should visit https://luth.gov.ng/profile. login with the user ID sent through the email and complete the Application Form for the desired programme. Admission requirements for each School are stated in the platform.
