After Ayomide Adeleye’s arrest for the abduction and murder of Idowu Christianah, leaked chats revealed him feigning ignorance and expressing concern for her whereabouts, despite being responsible for her death.
After the arrest of Ayomide Adeleye, an undergraduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), leaked chats emerged where he pretended not to know the whereabouts of Idowu Christianah, whom he had killed.
Christianah, a 300-level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), was tragically kidnapped and murdered by Ayomide, sparking widespread outrage on social media.
Following his arrest, chats surfaced showing him expressing what appeared to be sincere concerns and hope for Christianah’s safe return. In the conversations, Ayomide asked about Christianah’s situation from the person on the other end, who confirmed that a ransom was being collected.
In another part of the chat, he expressed concerns for the safety of others, advising his chat partners to be cautious and move in groups.
