Prof. Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe has emerged the 6th Substantive Vice Chancellor of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU), Abia State.


The announcement was made immediately after the University’s governing council concluded the 6th vice-chancellor election process.
Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe is a Professor of Food Science and Technology and the Immediate past Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics).


He has been a lecturer in the following schools:
- University of Nigeria, Nsukka
- University of Jos, Makurdi Campus
- University of Agriculture, Makurdi
- Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, 2000;
He became Professor in Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, in 2003.
In MOUAU, he has been the Head ofDepartment; Dean of College; Dean, Student Affairs; among others.
Education Background:
Prof Madu attended the following institution:
- Boys’ High School Ihube, Okigwe, Imo State Nigeria;
- Government College Afikpo, Ebonyi State Nigeria;
- University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
- University of Ibadan
