NABTEB has announced the release of the 2024 NBC/NTC exam results, with 65.34% of candidates scoring 5 credits including English and Math, and 68.64% certified as craftsmen, marking an improvement from last year.


The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has released the results of the 2024 In-School National Business Certificate (NBC) and National Technical Certificate (NTC) exams, conducted nationwide in June/July.
Speaking at NABTEB’s headquarters in Benin, Acting Registrar Dr. Nnasia Asanga reported that 67,751 candidates registered across 1,708 centers nationwide, including the FCT.
Candidates enrolled for various trades, including Engineering, Construction, Miscellaneous, Business, and General Education subjects.
Of the 67,340 candidates who took the exams, 65.34% earned 5 credits or more, including English and Mathematics, while 92.42% obtained 5 credits or more regardless of these subjects. Additionally, 68.64% of candidates were certified as craftsmen, up from 51.93% in 2023.
Asanga noted that the timely release of the results will assist candidates seeking admission into higher institutions.
