Dr. Yusuf Hammed Agboola, a lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), has been appointed to the University of Lay Adventist, Kigali, Rwanda (UNILAK), under Nigeria’s Technical Aid Corps (TAC) programme.
The appointment, effective September 27, 2024, highlights Dr. Yusuf’s expertise and dedication to advancing education and technical support. With a Ph.D. in International Economics from Universiti Utara Malaysia and experience as a consultant for the African Development Bank, he brings a wealth of knowledge to this international role.
The TAC programme, a key aspect of Nigeria’s foreign policy, provides technical assistance to developing nations across Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. Dr. Yusuf’s appointment underscores Nigeria’s commitment to fostering regional development and strengthening bilateral relations.
