Osun State Former Governor Aregbesola Commits To Expanding Scholarship Endowment Fund For Fountain University Students.


In a significant display of commitment to education and student empowerment, former Governor of Osogbo State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has pledged to expand the Alhaja Wosafat Aregbesola Scholarship endowment fund to support more students of Fountain University.
This commitment was made during a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Professor Olayinka Ramota Karim, in her office today. Professor Karim expressed her gratitude to Ogbeni Aregbesola for his generosity and commitment to the education and well-being of the students.
This year, 10 students received ₦200,000 each to support their education for the 2024/2025 academic session under the Alhaja Wosilat Aregbesola Scholarship. A cumulative total of 155 students enjoyed various levels of scholarships amounting to the tune of 46.5 Million naira.
Ogbeni Aregbesola also commended Professor Karim on her outstanding leadership as the first female Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, praising her for the giant strides she has made in advancing the institution’s mission and vision.
