CURSORY: Female UNILAG finalist receives support from netizens after stating the challenge she was facing on her X handle.
Ifeoluwa Ojo, a female students currently studying at the University of Lagos UNILAG, have received over 200k, donated to her by kind Nigerians.
On Monday 15th of January, the final year student of the department of Microbiology made a tweet on her X account soliciting for help regarding her laptop which was stolen at school.
She talked about the laptop brand and how it was stolen in school. The finalists who barely uses tweeter made a post which read;
“I barely use Twitter, but today I need all the help I can get. My laptop was stolen today in school (University of Lagos) while I was working on my final year project.”
After few hours of dropping her account details, in line with the suggestion of a netizen, people started making their donations.
Ifeoluwa was very thankful for the support she received from people, even though they didn’t know her.
