The scholarship covers tuition and boarding fees up to university and is open to pupils currently in Junior Secondary School (JSS) 3 in any school across the country between 13 years and 14 years old.

In a statement in Abuja, NTIC explained that the pupils must have also participated in the scholarship examinations organised by the NTIC.

The statement reads: “The Nigerian Tulip International Colleges commences 100 per cent full scholarship for students seeking entry into SS1 all over Nigeria. This scholarship, termed NESS (NTIC Examination for Senior Secondary School Scholarship), is a full scholarship covering tuition and boarding fees.

“The scholarship scheme is for Senior Secondary students and aimed at contributing to the educational development of our society and country. It is also meant to strengthen the accomplishment of gifted students and ensure the realisation of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) of NTIC.

“The eligible students for this scholarship scheme are the students who are currently in Junior Secondary School 3 in various schools, JSS 3 (both private and public schools in Nigeria) and are prospective students for Senior Secondary School One (SS1).”

“These sets of students must have participated in the scholarship examinations organised by NTIC. The selection of students for the award of the scholarship will be based on the scholarship examination results.”

The examinations will be conducted by NTIC.

The first round will hold on July 24, while the second round will be between August 23 and 27
