A Nigerian woman who completed her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year at a household utensils shop expressed her desire to continue working there.
Over the year, she served at the shop, and as a parting gift, the owner paid her N70,000, the new minimum wage. The shop owner also offered to retain her if she wished to continue working at the store.
In a video shared by Dee Utensils on TikTok, the shop owner praised thelady’s contributions during her service year. She commended the NYSC member for her dedication, hard work, and positive impact on the business.
The shop owner mentioned that the corps member had been a valuable addition to the team and expressed a desire to retain her as a permanent employee.
