OGITECH Notice to the Public on Alleged Assault Perpetrated by one of its Students .

The attention of the Management of the Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa (OGITECH), has been drawn to a viral video circulating on social media, which allegedly involves some individuals identified as female students of our institution engaging in an act of physical assault against another lady.
We wish to categorically state that OGITECH dissociates herself from any form of violence, intimidation, or unlawful behaviour. As an institution committed to academic excellence and character development, we uphold discipline, respect for human rights, and the rule of law.
The matter is currently under investigation by the Nigeria Police Force, and we are fully cooperating with the authorities to ensure that the facts are established and justice is served. If any of those involved are confirmed to be students of OGITECH and found culpable, appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken in line with our institutional policies.
Our thoughts are with the victim of this unfortunate incident. The management assures the public that we are committed to ensuring she receives the justice and support she deserves.
We urge all students to remain law-abiding and to always uphold the values of respect, integrity, and non-violence that our institution stands for.
Signed,
