A student of the Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, was shot dead during a protest on Monday.


It was gathered that the deceased had joined his colleagues, who were protesting hike in school fees, when security operatives made an attempt to disperse them forcefully.
When contacted, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalike, told DAILY POST correspondent that he will find out and revert.
