A brilliant young scholar, Lawrence Lawrence, has emerged as the best graduating student of Ethiopian Aviation University, Addis Ababa, after earning a bachelor’s degree in aircraft engineering with an impressive 97.23% cumulative average.
Lawrence demonstrated outstanding performance across 117 exams in airframe, avionics, and powerplant engineering. Celebrating his achievement on LinkedIn, he expressed gratitude for his journey, announcing his role as the valedictorian and his official certification as an aircraft engineer.
“Today is my graduation day! I am super excited and grateful to God for seeing me through this incredible journey. I am proud to graduate as the overall best graduating student and officially a certified aircraft engineer,” he wrote.
Before pursuing aircraft engineering, Lawrence had already earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with distinction from the University of Uyo, Nigeria. He built a strong career as a design engineer at Sterling Oil Exploration & Energy Production Co. Limited, but his deep passion for aviation inspired him to make a challenging yet rewarding transition to aircraft engineering.
Now, as a certified aircraft engineer, Lawrence is eager to soar to greater heights in the aviation industry and serve as an inspiration to others striving for excellence.
