Erejuwa Earnest, an exceptional Nigerian student, has graduated from the University of Lagos with a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum and Gas Engineering, achieving an extraordinary 4.89 out of 5.00 CGPA. His remarkable academic performance earned him the title of second-best graduating student in his department.
Reflecting on his journey, Earnest revealed that he earned a perfect 5.00 GPA in eight different semesters, emphasizing that his grades were not merely numbers but milestones that represented personal and academic growth. He described the path as one shaped by resilience, continuous learning, and a commitment to excellence.
During his time at university, Earnest was selected to represent Nigeria at the prestigious Offshore Technology Conference Asia (OTC Asia) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event brought together 27 outstanding students from 27 universities across 10 countries, all passionate about shaping the future of energy in Asia.
Grateful for the support behind his success, Earnest credited his family for their sacrifices and encouragement, as well as his classmates and lecturers for their mentorship and support. Most importantly, he expressed deep gratitude to God, acknowledging divine guidance as central to his accomplishments.
As he looks to the future, Earnest is excited about the next phase of his journey and remains hopeful about making a lasting impact in the energy sector.
