Oyo SUBEB arrested one Abosede Ojo for falsifying her recruitment exam results, while the Nigeria Union of Teachers praised the state government for recruiting 19,500 teachers to address manpower shortages in schools.

The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) has arrested a middle-aged job seeker, Abosede Ojo, for allegedly falsifying her recruitment examination results.
According to Nureni Adeniran, the Chairman of OYOSUBEB, the suspect, who scored 36 in the recruitment CBT examination, collaborated with an exam syndicate to produce a fake congratulatory message claiming she passed. Ojo was caught during a verification exercise conducted by the Board for shortlisted candidates and has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
Adeniran also revealed that the suspect admitted to not attending the interview and instead worked with her husband to forge the congratulatory message.
