A teacher was left stunned when a student called her a “prostitute” over her short dress, sparking widespread debate online about dress codes and student conduct.

A newly resumed teacher was left shocked after being confronted by a pupil who openly criticized her choice of clothing in class.
The incident, which was captured in a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @Teeniiola, shows the teacher questioning the student after being called a “prostitute” because of her short dress.
In the video, the teacher asks, “You called me a prostitute? Why did you call me that? Talk…”
The student responds bluntly: “Because you’re putting on a short dress.”
Clearly taken aback, the teacher replies, “You called me a prostitute because of my short dress? Does my dress look short to you? Is it long gown to knee dress you want me to be wearing?”
The classroom exchange has triggered widespread debate across social media, with users split between criticizing the student’s behavior and questioning whether the teacher’s attire was appropriate for a school setting.
Some viewers argue that children are more observant and outspoken than ever, while others say it’s the responsibility of educators to model professional dress standards.
