An X user identified as @joyoris_ took to the platform to share a message from his sister, an undergraduate student, lamenting her difficult situation. In the chat, she explained how her roommate stopped cooking due to her inability to contribute to their food expenses.
Moved by her plight, @joyoris_ shared the chat online, expressing his own distress over the situation. To his surprise, generous Nigerians responded with monetary donations.
“Tears nearly drop for my eyes dawgg 😔. I’m ready to grind so hard y’all pls put me on in any way you can pls😔,” he captioned the post.
Following the influx of donations, he expressed his gratitude: “To every hand blessing her, I pray you never go broke 🙏❤️. She’s not even online right now. I really appreciate this so much 😭❤️. Guysss, she’s online now, I’m happy that she’s happy❤️. My God, she’s so grateful to y’all 🙏🫶.”
