The authorities of Bayero University Kano (BUK) have formed a committee to investigate the large-scale failure of students in certain courses at the institution.


This was included in a statement made on the university website, approved at the University’s 393rd Senate meeting on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
The statement revealed that other members of the committee include Professor Haruna Musa, Director of Academic Planning; Dr. Ali Idris, Provost of the Faculty of Nature and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Dean of the Faculty of Education.
The others are Prof. Ahmad Muhammad Tsauni, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences; Prof. Hashim M. Alhassan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Prof. Ali Abdullahi Tijjani, Dean of the Faculty of General Studies and Entrepreneurship Studies.
