Sule Lamido University (Former Jigawa State University) has issued disclaimer notice to students and the general public


This is to inform the students of Sule Lamido University (SLU) Kafin Hausa and the general public that the Management of the institution has discovered a criminal activity of one fraudster by the name Dr. Ibrahim (a seudo name). The said fraudster has been sending unsolicited messages to our students claiming that he is a staff of the Examinations and Record Unit of the University’s Registry Department, and that he can clear outstanding carry over courses for a token sum of Twenty Thousand naira (N20,000.00) only.
The fraudster with phone number 081 4776 1944, went to the extent of promising to assist in clearing courses for M.B.B.S and B. Sc. Anatomy which are programmes that are not being offered in the University currently.
The account details sent by the suspect after engaging his would-be victims are as follows:
- Account Name: Tolulope Titilayo Dada
- Account Number: 2117296613
- Bank Name: Zenith Bank PLC.
In view of the above, students and the general public are thereby strongly warned to disregard any claims by the culprit in question as the University is working hard to apprehend and bring him to book.
