Read her inspiring story below:
“Just to give a little background on my academic journey😀 In 2015 i matriculated from one of the best public secondary schools in Bushbuckridge, a small village in Mpumalanga.
“I Started my first year as a university student in 2016 but ended up losing my funding in 2017 and dropping out of the institution at the end of that year.
“I was at the worst points of my life, highly disappointed at myself and just hopeless of my life. But God gave me a second chance to turn my life around🥺🙌 and i was admitted to a new institution in 2018 where i enrolled for a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.
“Three months ago i was privileged to graduate with a BSc in Agriculture (Honours) from the beautiful University of Mpumalanga (South Africa) under the care of the best supervisor and nematologist, Dr ZAKHELENI DUBE 🙌🎉.

“I can boldly say it was only by God’s grace and mercy that i was able to take on this programme that i initially had no funding for, but God never left me in my lack and hopelessness! He turned my story for His Glory.
“At the beginning of 2022 i registered for my Master of Science and have been truly blessed to be funded by The National Research Foundation of South Africa (NRF). Oh what a beautiful journey i have been placed in!
“Just a few months ago, with the help of my supervisor, i accepted a scholarship by the VLIR-UOS to pursue a second Masters degree at Ghent University starting in September.
“From being a little poor black child raised by an unemployed beautiful mother, to being the first person to enter the gates of a university in my family, to being a hopeless drop out, to being a graduate in God’s perfect timing at the same time with my beautiful blood sister Tiisetso Mashego, and now to being accepted as an international postgraduate student in one of the most prestigious universities in Belgium, is beyond what my small mind could comprehend😭❤
“I’m dedicating this to my beautiful family and friends🥺❤my academic supervisor and mentor Dr ZAKHELENI DUBE and most importantly, to the God who makes all things beautiful in His own perfect time❤ What a privilege it is to be called His!
“I’m still a great work in progress in many areas of my life, but my God, I’m far from where i come from! 🙌 And I’m super grateful for the mistakes and lessons learnt on this rollercoaster life of mine🥺❤
‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. ‘” — Jeremiah 29:11🤍🤍
“God can rewrite any story, we can never be too far from His reach, too damaged for His restoring love! He’s able to do above what we could ever dare to ask or imagine❤ And i give Him all Glory for everything!!!! .”
