UNIPORT New Students Registration Procedure for Students Admitted into School of Basic Studies.

This is information is strictly for students admitted into UNIPORT through School of Basic Studies. below is the registration procedure for newly admitted students.

LATEST UPDATE ON UNIPORT 2018/2019 Registration for School of Basic Studies Students:

It has come to our notice that School of Basic Studies students are being exploited by owners of cyber cafe and persons posing as registration agents for the School of Basic Studies. 
To stop this illegal act the new/prospective students should be guided as follows:

1. Report to the School of Basic Studies on arrival into the University.
2. Registration of students admitted into the School of Basic Studies is carried out only in the School of Basic
3. Studies by the staff of the School.
4. Students are assigned to registrars in the School according to their Departments.
5. All study materials are provided by the School.
6. School fees includes textbooks, brochure, past questions and tutorials, etc.  There are no extra charges.
7. REGISTRATION IS FREE
8. Pay your School fees and bring your receipt for you to be registered. Registration requirements are provided in the School.

Sign Up Online

• If you have been admitted into the School of Basic Studies for the 2018/2019 academic session, select Search Admission from the Student drop down menu on the School of Basic Studies home page.
•  Search for your name and click on it to proceed. Provide an active email address, phone number and a security password to create your account.
• After creating your account you will be redirected to the login page. Select School of Basic Studies Student as your User Type. Enter either your Phone Number, Email Address, Application Number, or Registration Number as your User ID and enter your password to login.

Online Registration

• Log in to your account to print your online documents (Provisional Admission Slip and Clearance Eligibility Form) before paying your school fees.
• After completing and printing your Clearance Eligibility Form, select Print Payment Slip from the School Fees Payment drop down menu to print your School Fees Payment Slip. Proceed to the bank to make payment.
• After making payment at the bank login to your account, select Print Receipt from the School Fees Payment drop down menu to confirm your school fees payment and print your School Fees Receipt.

Physical Clearance

Candidates who are through with their online registration should proceed to School of Basic Studies with the following for physical clearance:

•  Provisional Admission Slip
• Clearance Eligibility Form
• Bank Teller (Original & Photocopy)
• Copy of Online Fees Receipt
• Original & Photocopies of School Certificates
• Original & Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Statutory Declaration of Age
• Local Government Identification Letter from Candidate’s Local Government Area
• Two Recent 3.5 x 4.5cm Passport Photographs with White Background
