A Nigerian corps member known as Queen recently shared an emotional moment on social media as her Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) honored her with a grand send-forth ceremony to mark the completion of her national service.
Queen had been posted to a school where she served diligently, earning admiration and gratitude from the staff and students. In a video she shared online, schoolchildren were seen singing her a heartfelt farewell song while one of them held an umbrella over her head as a gesture of respect and appreciation.
The school principal also recognized her dedication, presenting her with a handshake and praising her for her contributions during her service year.
Reflecting on her experience, Queen captioned her post:
“I guess I served my country well. I still remember how much I cried the first day I was posted to this school. Looking back, I’m grateful to God I was posted to Nineveh Comprehensive School. Forever in my heart.”
