WAEC has released the 2022 WASSCE Results, with 75% of students scoring five credits including English and Mathematics.


The head of the West Africa Examination Council, WAEC, Nigeria Office, Mr. Patrick Areghan, has today 8th August, disclosed that the 2022 WASSCE results have been released.
According to Mr. Patrick, while the results have been uploaded on the results portal, candidates should start checking 12hrs from now, Punch reports.
In context, candidates should check their results from 8am tomorrow 9th August 2022.

Mr. Patrick also disclosed that out of 1.6m candidates that wrote the exam, 1.2m candidates got five credits in their subjects, Premiumtimes reports.
He also revealed that the results of 163,418 candidates haven’t been released yet but will be released on or before 15th August 2022.
He, however, disclosed that the results of 365,564 candidates have been withheld (seized) because of malpractice cases.
After the NEC meeting, such results may or may not be released. The results will be released if the affected student is not found guilty of the malpractice case.
However, if such a student is found to be guilty of malpractice, the results will be withheld.
