Sixteen-year-old Osasere Okundaye made history as Nigeria’s youngest chartered accountant after qualifying through ICAN, earning nationwide praise for her outstanding achievement and inspiring young Nigerians.


A 16-year-old Nigerian, Osasere Okundaye, has made history by becoming the youngest person in the country to qualify as a chartered accountant through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Her achievement surpasses the previous national record set in 2022 by Jonathan Adewale, who earned the same qualification at the age of 17.
Nigeria’s Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, congratulated Okundaye, describing her success as a powerful example of hard work, discipline, resilience, and dedication to excellence.
