2,000 UNN Students Empowered In Emerging Tec

Cursory: TechyJaunt and CP.Hub Sahara collaborated to train over 2000 UNN students in emerging technologies. The initiative aims to empower the next generation of tech talent by providing access to knowledge, resources, and mentorship. Notable figures in the ICT sector participated, offering valuable insights to aspiring tech professionals.

More than 2000 students from the University of Nigeria (UNN) in Enugu State received training in emerging technologies and skills through a collaboration between TechyJaunt and CP.

Hub Sahara. TechyJaunt is a prominent community of tech enthusiasts dedicated to introducing, educating, and training individuals in emerging technologies and tech skills, while CP.

Hub Sahara serves as the official hub for the Internet Computer protocol in West Africa. Adedayo Adebajo, co-founder of ICP.Hub Sahara, delivered insights during a panel discussion titled “How to Launch Your Career in Tech: Building a Career in Tech from Novice to Knowledgeable.”

He underscored the significance of adopting a growth mindset when acquiring and enhancing new tech skills, encouraging students to embrace continuous learning and adaptability in today’s rapidly changing tech environment. Speaking to journalists following the event titled “Beyond the Campus Walls: Building a Tech Career as a Student,” he emphasized that the forum provided a platform for young individuals in the tech industry to explore career paths.

He highlighted that the collaboration between TechyJaunt and ICP.Hub Sahara reflects their commitment to empowering the next generation of tech professionals by offering students access to the knowledge, resources, and mentorship necessary to succeed in the digital era.

The tech event was attended by prominent figures in the ICT sector, including Okechukwu V.A, co-founder of Blockchain UNN Enugu, Dimeji Falana, CEO and co-founder of Edves, and Eliezer Ajah, Talent Development Lead at Genesys Tech Hub, among others.
