University of Mkar Post UTME form

This is to notify candidates who sat for the 2024 JAMB UTME and scored a minimum of 140 and are willing to enroll into full-time undergraduate Programmes at University of Mkar, Mkar, that, admission into the University for the 2024/2025 academic session is in progress.

The University of Mkar, Mkar is a licensed private University located at Mkar, Gboko Local Government Area, Benue State, Nigeria offering various programmes accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Parents and guardians are hereby encouraged to bring their children and wards to the University of Mkar, Mkar for holistic training. At the University of Mkar, Mkar we give special attention to spiritual, physical, moral and mental development of our students

Prospective candidates should urgently visit JAMB portal: https://portal.jamb.gov.ng and effect change of institution to University of Mkar, Mkar for possible admission.

About University of Mkar.

University of Mkar, Mkar (UMM) is private university in Nigeria. Located in Mkar, Gboko Benue State. UMM is duly approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria though National Universities Commission (NUC) in June 2005. The Universal Reformed Christian Church (URCC) is the proprietor of the University. Their total school fee is between N500,000 – N600,000. depending on the course and year of study.

University of Mkar Post UTME Screening Eligibility.

  • Candidates who have applied for admission into the University of Mkar, Mkar, for the 2024/2025 academic session and have a score of 140 points and above in the UTME.
  • Candidates who did not choose University of Mkar, Mkar but have a score of 140 and above in the UTME are also eligible for Screening and admission.
  • Change of institution is allowed for those who didn’t choose university of Mkar, Mkar during their JAMB registration

The admission into full-time undergraduate programmes at University of Mkar, Mkar are in the following colleges: College of Arts, College of Food Science and Technology, College of Science and Education, College of Social and Management Sciences

  2. Pure Chemistry
  3. Industrial Chemistry
  4. Biochemistry
  5. Physics
  6. Industrial Physics
  7. Biology
  8. Microbiology
  9. Mathematics
  10. Computer Science
  11. Biology
  12. Industrial Chemistry
  13. Physics
  14. Mathematics
  15. Computer Science
  16. Business Management

  20. Political Science or Public Administration
  21. Mass Communication

DURATION: Except Food Science and Technology (FST), all other undergraduate courses in University of Mkar will last for four years (8 semesters). The duration of FST is 5 years ie 10 semester.

University of Mkar Admission Entry Requirements.

Undergraduate applicants must posses five credits pass in relevant areas in WACE or NECO at not more than two sittings in addition to the UTME national approved cutoff marks. Direct entry candidates must have relevant A-level passes in relevant fields in addition to purchasing a UTME direct entry form. Even candidates who did not chose the University as their first and second choice in their UTME can be considered for admission.
