Nasarawa State University, NSUK Disclaimer Notice on Fake Social media Accounts Impersonating the VC.


The attention of the Management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has been drawn to the activities of unscrupulous individuals operating fake social media accounts in the name of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman.
We wish to state categorically and unequivocally to the university community and the general public that the Vice-Chancellor DOES NOT own, operate, or maintain any personal account on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or any other social media platform.
⚠️ Important Warning to the Public
These fraudulent accounts are created by impostors with the sole intent of deceiving, extorting, and scamming unsuspecting students, staff, contractors, and members of the general public.
Please be strongly advised of the following:
- No Solicitations: The Vice-Chancellor will never initiate contact via social media to offer admission, award contracts, solicit financial assistance, or request personal information.
- Do Not Engage: Anyone who interacts, chats, or transacts any business (financial or otherwise) with these fake accounts does so entirely at their own risk. The University Management will not be held liable for any loss incurred.
- Report and Block: We urge members of the public to remain vigilant. If you come across any social media profile claiming to be Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, please report the account to the respective platform administrators as fraudulent and block it immediately.
