JUTH admission into Post Basic Perioperative Nursing Entry Requirements
Applicant must:
- Be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current practicing license
- Have at least two (2) years post qualification experience preferably in Perioperative / Operating theater unit
- Be a holder of West African School Certificate / Senior Secondary Certificate (WAEC) National Examination Council of Nigeria (NECO) or General Certificate of Education (GCE) at ordinary level with five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings.
DURATION: The duration of the course is Twelve (12) months, Full Time.

How To Apply For JUTH Admission Into Post Basic Perioperative Nursing
Application forms are obtainable from Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee’s (CMAC) office at JUTH Permanent Site, Lamingo on presentation of receipts of payment of non-refundable fee of Seven thousand, Give hundred Naira (N7,500.00) only, from the Accounts Department of the Hospital.
METHOD OF PAYMENT:
Pay the sun of Seven Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N7,500) only, via Remita in favor of Post Basic Perioperative Nursing School, Jos University Teaching Hospital, Jos.
Submit the Remita to the HOD (Accounts), Jos University Teaching Hospital, Lamingo, Jos Plateau State to collect receipt of payment for presentation at the office of the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee.
APPLICATIONS FORWARDED TO:
all completed application forms are to be forwarded in a big brown envelop to the office of the Programme Coordinator, Post Basic Perioperative Nursing School, Jos University Teaching Hospital, Temporary site, Murtals Mohammand Way, Jos, on or before 14th July, 2023.

Sale of Application forms closes on Friday, 14th July, 2023.
METHOD OF SELECTION OF CANDIDATES:
Selection of candidates is based on performance at the written examination and oral interview scheduled as follows:
- Written Examination – Wednesday 19th July, 2023
- Venue – School Lecture Hall, JUTH Temporary Site, M/Mohammed Way, Jos
- Time – 7:00am prompt
Oral Interview Schedule
- Oral Interview – Thursday, 20th July, 2023
- Venue – School Lecture Hall, JUTH Temporary Site, M/Mohammed Way, Jos
- Time – 10 :00am prompt
Released Of Admission List & Resumption Date
- Release of admission list – August ending, 2023
- RESUMPTION DATE: Successful candidates will resume 6th November, 2023
