OAU Notice to Graduands on 49th Convocation Ceremony

Following the publication of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU 49th Convocation Ceremony Programme of Events, the authorities of the institution released some important information to all Graduands of the institution as regards the coming event.

OAU Information to Graduands.

The University Administration has approved the Convocation charges to be paid by the graduands for 49th Convocation as follows:

Diploma Students- 30,000.00

Bachelor’s Degrees- 40,000. 00

Postgraduate Diplomas, Masters and MPhil- 45,000.00

PhD- 60,000.00

Action Required:
The payment can be made through the University e-portal/Convocation Due.

Please note that we have limited numbers of PhD Gowns/Caps/Hoods. The cost of the PhD Gown with its full compliment is Fifty Thousand Naira only (#50,000:00).

Those that are interested in outright purchase of the PhD Gown should make their payments to the account details provided below:

Note:

• The PhD Graduands that make payments for Gowns should come with evidence of payments to collect their Gowns.
• All Graduands must come with evidence (s) of payment of Convocation Charges to pick their Convocation materials at the Faculties/Colleges.

Graduands are advised to note and adhere strictly to the dates and time scheduled for the ceremonies.

Graduands should note that movement into, and out, of the hall during the ceremony, or before the end of the ceremony will not be allowed.

Graduands will also be required to show evidence of payment of the Convocation charges when collecting their certificates
