This is to inform all candidates seeking admission into the Federal University of Technology, Ikot-Abasi, Akwa Ibom for the 2025/2026 Academic Session to register for the Post-UTME screening as detailed below.
Federal University of Technology Ikot-Abasi is one of the newly established Federal Universities in Nigeria. It is located in Ikot-Abasi Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State. It is a Science and Technology oriented Universitiy and the conduct of research is in Science and Technology.

ELIGIBILITY FOR THE SCREENING
- ONLY candidates that scored a minimum of 160 in their UTME and made FUTIA their First (1) choice is eligible to apply.
- Candidates who did not choose FUTIA as University of first choice but scored a minimum of 160 can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB CAPS and change their First (1st) choice to FUTIA
- Candidates MUST have passed a minimum of 5 relevant subjects at credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings including English and Mathematics
How To Apply For FUTIA POST-UTME Form
- Visit http://portal.futia.edu.ng and click on “Click here to apply”
- Click Undergraduate link at the top menu bar
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Click on “Continue”
- Complete the basic information page (Please note: Enter only valid phone number and email address) and click next.
- On the payment review page, click on “Make Payment” and this will take you to the payment page where you can provide your card detail.
- Enter ATM card (MasterCard, Visa or Verve) number and other details as appropriate and submit
- Enter “OTP code” sent to your phone and click continue to complete your payment.
- After a successful payment, click on “Main login” on the portal, enter your Jamb registration number and Surname as password.
- Click on “Login” button and complete your registration.
- Ensure you print completed registration form and payment receipt.
NOTE:
- There would be a grace period of four (4) weeks within which all approved admissions must be accepted by candidates.
- Candidates with awaiting results may apply but must ensure that their O’Level (WAEC/NECO) results are uploaded appropriately at the JAMB Portal (CAPS) in a COMPUTER-BASED TEST (CBT) CENTRE approved by JAMB.
- Kindly note that the FUTIA does not have individual/sales agents for admission. Anyone who deals with any individual and/or makes payment(s) to an individual’s account does so at his/her own risk.
