The Nigerian Maritime University (NMU) has released the school fees schedule for the 2025/2026 academic session, alongside detailed payment instructions for both returning and new students. The university’s management has streamlined the process via its updated online portal, ensuring a smooth and efficient payment experience.

Detailed School Fees Breakdown for NMU Students
For the Faculty of Engineering, the total amount payable by students is ₦192,000.00 for 100 Level, ₦137,000.00 for 200 Level, ₦137,000.00 for 300 Level, ₦142,000.00 for 400 Level, and ₦167,000.00 for 500 Level.
For the Faculty of Environmental Management, the total amount payable by Marine Geology and other departments is ₦192,000.00 for 100 Level, ₦137,000.00 for 200 Level, ₦137,000.00 for 300 Level, ₦142,000.00 for 400 Level, and ₦167,000.00 for 500 Level.
For the Faculty of Transport, the total amount payable is ₦192,000.00 for 100 Level, ₦137,000.00 for 200 Level, ₦142,000.00 for 300 Level, ₦142,000.00 for 400 Level, and ₦167,000.00 for 500 Level.
Important Notes
- Students’ uniforms and life vests are to be handled by the Consultancy Unit.
- Faculty dues are to be paid into the University Remita account.
- Departmental dues are also to be paid into the University Remita account.
- A medical service fee of ₦5,000.00 covers the students’ insurance scheme.
- Hostel accommodation charges of ₦80,000.00 should be paid into the New Hostel Remita account.
- Hostel charges of ₦60,000.00 should be paid for Old Hostels into the University Remita account.
- An SMS fee of ₦3,000.00 should be paid directly into the University Remita account.
- The students’ welfare insurance scheme of ₦5,000.00 is payable into the University Remita account.
- Sports dues of ₦10,000.00 only are payable into the University Remita account.
- An acceptance fee of ₦70,000.00 is to be paid by all fresh students (100 Level) into the University Remita account.
Late Payment Penalty:
- Be aware that late payment will incur an additional charge.
