A young Nigerian girl, Chisom Francisca, has stirred social media with her WAEC results, which showed exceptional grades in most subjects but a disappointing D7 in English. Heartbroken, she turned to Facebook for advice, concerned that her English grade might hinder her dream of studying Banking and Finance.
In her post, Francisca shared a photo of her results, which displayed A1 in Accounting, Economics, Civic Education, and Mathematics, as well as strong marks in other subjects: B3 in Commerce, B2 in Marketing and Government, and C5 in Igbo. Despite her impressive overall performance, the D7 in English left her questioning her academic future, particularly whether she could still pursue her desired course or later switch to Accounting.
