ABU Zaria Notice of Reviewed Inter/intra Campus Transportation Charges.

The Ahmadu Bello University Student Representative Council (ABUSRC), under the visionary leadership of Comrade Nazeer Ibrahim Kallah, wishes to inform the general public of the outcome of the Intra/Inter Campus Transport Committee meeting held on October 17, 2024. This meeting addressed the revised transportation charges due to the over 100% increase in fuel prices.
New Transportation Charges:
- Inter-campus bus fares (Samaru to go Kongo Campus) will increase from N200 to N300.
- Intra-campus fares:
- a. North Gate to Phase 2: N100 to N150
- b. North Gate to anywhere within the campus: N50 to N100
Important Notes for Students:
- Students are advised to avoid overcrowding and report any instances to ABUSRC officials.
- To prevent price exploitation, students should report the bus or keke napep serial number to ABUSRC officials.
- Students are advised to desist from taking outside bike or Keke napep riders in to the school due to rising security issues.
- Effective immediately, transportation fees will be paid to the designated loading personnel, not drivers.
- The price of waybills for bus drivers from Kongo to Samaru will be announced separately.
Implementation Date:
These changes will take effect on November 4, 2024.
