ADSU Academic Calendar 2026 Announced [UPDATED]

ADSU Academic Calendar: Adamawa State University (ADSU) approved Academic Calendar for 2025/2026 Session has been released.

This is to inform all students of the Adamawa State University (ADSU) that the school management has released the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session. The schedule of events for the session are as follows;

Students, Parents and Guardians are enjoined to note the dates and ensure strict compliance as Management is poised to ensure adherence to the calendar as approved by the senate

• FIRST SEMESTER
  • 8th December, 2025 – 21st December, 2025: Resumption and Registration (2 Weeks)
  • 22nd December, 2025 – 4th January, 2026: Christmas/New Year Break (2 Weeks)
  • 5th January, 2026 – 11th January, 2026: Late Registration (1 Week)
  • 12th January, 2026 – 29th March, 2026: Lectures (12 Weeks)
  • 16th January, 2026: Matriculation (1 Day)
  • 17th January, 2026: Orientation (1 Day)
  • 15th March, 2026 – 22nd March, 2026: Revision/End of First Break (1 Week)
  • 24th March, 2026 – 1st April, 2026: CBT First Semester Examination (8 Days)
  • 2nd April, 2026 – 7th April, 2026: Easter Break (1 Week)
  • 8th April, 2026 – 18th April, 2026: Examination (11 Days)
  • 19th April, 2026 – 2nd May, 2026: Marking and Compilation of Results (2 Weeks)
  • 27th April, 2026 – 2nd May, 2026: Research fair and exhibitions (1 Week)
  • Note: The School Portal will be opened from October, 2025 for all students to make their school fees payment.
  • 6th May, 2026 – 8th May, 2026: Department/Faculty Board Meetings (3 Days)
  • 13th May, 2026 – 25th May, 2026: SBC Meetings (2 Weeks)
  • 30th May, 2026: Senate Meeting to consider Results
• SECOND SEMESTER
  • 10th May, 2026 – 17th August, 2026: Resumption (1 Day)
  • 11th May, 2026 – 2nd August, 2026: Lectures (12 Weeks)
  • 3rd August, 2026 – 9th August, 2026: Revision/Student Week (1 Week)
  • 10th August, 2026 – 23rd August, 2026: Second Semester Examination (2 Weeks)
  • 24th August, 2026 – 22nd November, 2026: Long Vacation (13 Weeks)
  • 24th August, 2026 – 6th September, 2026: Marking and Compilation of Results (2 Weeks)
  • 7th September, 2026 – 9th September, 2026: Departmental and Faculty Board (3 Days)
  • 10th September, 2026 – 23rd September, 2026: Senate Business Committee (2 Weeks)
  • 24th September, 2026: Senate Meeting (1 Day)
  • NOTE: SIWES and TEACHING PRACTICE are to take place during the long vacation.
