Oluwayemisi Tawakalitu Olaoluwa, a remarkable Nigerian scholar, has emerged as the best-graduating student from the Department of Psychology at the University of Ibadan, earning a prestigious first-class degree.

Her exceptional achievement is even more significant as she becomes the first member of her family to graduate from university, breaking new ground for her loved ones.

Sharing her inspiring journey on Twitter, Oluwayemisi celebrated her academic success alongside the numerous leadership roles she held during her university years.

Beyond her academic excellence, she served as the Editor-in-Chief, Vice-President, and later the President of the Asido Campus Network. She was also honored as a Fellow and Campus Director of the Millennium Fellowship, a Resolution Fellow, and an alumna of the renowned Carrington Fellowship, a program of the U.S. Government in Nigeria.

Reflecting on her university experience, Oluwayemisi revealed that she accumulated over five years of program management experience, completed multiple clinical and research internships, and successfully secured and co-managed grants exceeding $1,000 with her peers.
