UNN Graduate Appeals for Job on Social Media, Shares Statement of Result


Ogunmolasuyi Taiwo Johnson, a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, shared an emotional plea on social media for a job opportunity to transform his life, highlighting the challenges faced by many Nigerian graduates in securing employment.

Ogunmolasuyi Taiwo Johnson, a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has taken to social media to seek employment, sharing his heartfelt plea for a job opportunity that could transform his life.

Posting in the NYSC Online Community group on Facebook, Taiwo uploaded pictures of himself in his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) uniform alongside his statement of result, dated April 15, 2024. The document revealed that he earned a second-class lower degree in Industrial Technical Education.

In his post, Taiwo expressed his desperation for a life-changing opportunity, writing, “Please, I need a good connection that will change my life. Job opportunity!!”

His appeal struck a chord with many, prompting a wave of reactions. While some offered words of encouragement and prayers for his success, others advised him to learn in-demand skills to enhance his employability.

One user, Joseph Treasure Chioma, commented, “Congratulations in advance, you’ll come back and testify. Meanwhile, while waiting for your desired connection, get equipped with in-demand skills and tools that industry experts need at the moment.”

Another user, Chinonso Enyim, suggested, “Bro, go and learn a skill/trade…job no dey oh!”

Others, like Jessica Chinenye, shared uplifting messages, saying, “Congratulations, bro. God will connect you with your destiny helper soonest.”
