The Vice chancellor of Koladaisi University Ibadan has called on the Federal Government to extend the scholarship it has granted to students studying education courses in the public universities.
Koladaisi is a private University situated in Ibadan, Oyo State. The VC of the University, Prof. Adeniyi Olatunbosun has made this request during a press conference ahead of the university’s maiden convocation.
The VC had said extending the same gesture to students in all departments and it’s well including students in private universities in the policy would enhance learning across the country.

“Whatever is obtainable in federal and state universities should be replicated in private universities as well.
“If Federal Government can extend such a gesture to the private institution, it is most welcome.
“If the Federal Government can also extend it to other programmes as well, it is for educational advancement.”
This is coming after the Federal Government had declared student offering education courses in the public universities would henceforth be given N75, 000 for each semester.
Prof. Adeniyi’s request if looked into would give a big boast to the education in the country.
