Prof. Jude Kennedy Emejulu Elected Provost of College of Health Sciences, Nnewi

In a demonstration of confidence, Prof. Jude Kennedy Emejulu of the Department of Surgery has been unanimously elected as the Provost of the College of Health Sciences, Nnewi.

The election, held at the College Auditorium on the Okofia premises, saw Prof. Emejulu as the sole candidate. Out of 119 accredited voters, Prof. Emejulu secured a remarkable 117 votes, with two votes declared invalid.

Similarly, in a separate but related development, Prof. Ejeatuluchukwu Obi was re-elected unopposed as Deputy Provost, securing a second two-year term in office.

During his acceptance speech, Prof. Emejulu emphasized the need for teamwork and collaboration, urging his colleagues to maintain a spirit of unity and dedication. He also expressed openness to constructive criticism.

The election process was moderated by Prof. Ada Sam Omenyi, SAVC (Academic), with assistance from Prof. Fredrick John Odibo, a former SAVC Academic.
