The NYSC has announced that the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation will run from June 11 to July 1, with strict documentation, travel, and safety guidelines for all prospective corps members, including special provisions for married or nursing women and penalties for presenting fake credentials.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation will commence nationwide on Wednesday, June 11, with registration closing by midnight Friday, June 13, and the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for the same day; the programme will end on Tuesday, July 1.
Prospective corps members must report to the camps indicated in their call-up letters and present the original call-up letter, degree certificate or statement of result, school ID, and a medical fitness certificate from a government or military hospital stamped by the Nigeria Medical Association.
Foreign-trained graduates must bring their international passports and original uploaded documents, while polytechnic graduates are required to show their ND certificates. Those in regulated professions like medicine, pharmacy, and nursing must provide proof of professional registration.
The NYSC strongly warns against night travel and recommends using only government-approved motor parks. If stranded late, corps members should seek safe lodging at police stations, military barracks, or NYSC lodges.
Special provision is made for married, pregnant, or nursing mothers posted outside their husband’s state of residence—they may report to the camp in their current state but must present a marriage certificate, husband’s ID, and proof of residence.
Anyone caught with fake documents will be prosecuted and disqualified. Corps members are urged to travel early, stay safe, and come fully prepared for a productive service year.
