Jimoh Babalola University (JBU), a privately owned institution accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC), has announced the commencement of its admission exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session. The university invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for various undergraduate programmes across its faculties.

Jimoh Babalola University Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have selected Jimoh Babalola University as first choice on the 2026/2027 JAMB CAPS and scored 150 and above.
Note: Nursing Science requires a minimum of 160.

Candidates who did not initially choose JBU but wish to do so may apply after completing a Change of Institution on the JAMB CAPS portal.
Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects (WASSCE/NECO/NABTEB) in no more than two sittings.
In line with national policy, candidates must be at least 16 years old to qualify for admission.
How to Apply for Jimoh Babalola University Post UTME Form
- Candidates should visit the university’s admissions portal: https://admissions.jbu.edu.ng
- An application fee of ₦5,000 (excluding portal charges) is required.
- Successful applicants will receive formal admission notifications via the JBU portal and JAMB CAPS.
- Candidates must accept their admission on JAMB CAPS to secure their offer.
How to Apply (UTME Candidates Only)
Step 1:
Visit any JAMB-accredited ICT centre to obtain a Change of Institution Form, selecting Jimoh Babalola University, Ilorin as first choice.
Step 2:
Choose your preferred programme and ensure your O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB portal.
Step 3:
Candidates are to apply to Jimoh Babalola University, Ilorin at University’s portal link https://jbu.edu.ng. Candidates are expected to pay an online application fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) only excluding portal access charges.
Successful candidates will receive formal admission notification through the University’s admission portal and JAMB CAPS.
