How to Check Name on the 2019 JAMB Fully-Admitted Updated List [Must Check]

Today, JAMB announced that they have released the list of 2019/2020 fully-admitted candidates for all the tertiary institutions in Nigeria. This page will show you how to check your name on that list. Its advised you confirm your name is on the list. See the procedure to check below.

Earlier today, JAMB announced that the list of 2019 fully-admitted candidates for all the tertiary institutions in the country is on display on the Board’s website. Now let’s show you how to check your name on the list.

Please note that only candidates who have accepted their admission on JAMB CAPS Portal will see their name on this list. If you are unsure, you can check your name on the list of admitted students who are yet to accept their admission on JAMB CAPS Portal.

How to check name on jamb 2019-2020 full-admitted list. The numbers are fully explained in the steps below.
  1. Go to JAMB portal via https://www.jamb.gov.ng/home.aspx
  2. Under students, click on Matriculation List 2019, you will be redirected to JAMB CAPS Portal
  3. Under institution category, select your schools category. Basically, what you need select here is the type of school you were admitted to federal university, state university, federal polytechnic, state poly, College of Education, etc
  4. Then select the name of your school. For example, University of Nigeria Nsukka (if that’s the school you were admitted to).
  5. Now select your course/programme.
  6. Finally click on the submit button.
  7. If you are using a mobile device, you have to scroll to the left/right to view all names of admitted students. But if you are using desktop computer, you will see the list. You can then change the page size to 100 to view the list.
  8. But to make things really easier, you will see a box, in it is search by Reg Number. You should enter your JAMB Registration Number in the column and hit the search button to search your name in the list.
  9. In the list, you will see Serial Number, Institution, Full Name, course, state of origin, and status.
  10. If your status shows admitted, you have nothing to worry about. But hey, if your status shows Not Accepted. The you have to go and accept your admission on JAMB CAPS Portal.

“Acceptance of admission on any website other than CAPS is not a valid acceptance as any admission not processed and accepted through CAPS is not known to JAMB.”

“Candidates who have been offered PROVISIONAL ADMISSION BUT ARE YET TO ACCEPT the admission are to immediately accept such offers free by using the CAPS Mobile App downloaded from the Google Play Store.”

“Candidates do not need to visit any CBT centre or cybercafe as doing so would be a violation of the presidential directive on work from home/stay-at-home order.”

“Candidates should note that failure to accept such offers of admissions on the CAPS platform would result in the forfeiture of such admissions.”
