Benue State Moves to Establish College of Engineering in State Varsity. Read the details below.


Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has announced plans to establish a College of Engineering at the Benue State University, Makurdi and termed the engineering college as a key to technology development.
He disclosed this on Thursday at the Benue Peoples House, Makurdi when he received a report of the State Steering Committee on the Establishment of Centre for Infectious and Tropical Diseases, College of Health Sciences, Benue State University.
Governor Ortom added that a committee would be constituted to fast-track the establishment of the College of Engineering at the institution and directed the Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr Emmanuel Ikwulono to present a memo to the State Executive Council on findings and recommendations of the report for immediate action.
